How can I not be a grateful servant for all the blessings that He has given me?

Firstly, the website for the Non-Profit Organization (TwelveSeeds) I’m setting up is finally looking like what I have envisioned in my mind; all that’s left is uploading the contents and contacting the relevant people to produce the promotional videos. Once I am back in Singapore, we intend to complete all the registrations etc to make it legal in the eyes of the law and then insyaAllah we are good, hopefully by Ramadhan! It’s exciting and humbling at the same time how Allah just makes it all fall into place.

Secondly, I was scouted by my Professor to emcee an IIUM event which was organized for corporations working with the university. It was unnerving at first to see big shots in the audience but Alhamdulillah the event went on smoothly and ended really well with compliments from both organizers and the floor. Reminds me how I used to emcee often in events when I was younger, the highlight being for the president of Singapore.

Thirdly, managed to score the Best Research Paper in the first ever Communication Undergraduates Seminar & Product Showcase! Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulilah :) I was one of the nominees as well for best Presenter, but that being said, I think the highlight of the day was my professor approaching me after class saying, “We scored you an interview with Al Jazeera’s Deputy Editor tomorrow.” was just… masyaAllah. To have so many professors pulling so many strings for you is… Allahu.

Which of the blessings of your Lord shall you deny?

May Allah swt make me his catalyst, and use me for the betterment of the ummah. Allahumma Ameen!
